Neolign® is a wood-based material made from 83% PEFC-certified wood chips, polymers and color pigments, which is extruded into panels. In addition to extrusion, processes such as injection molding and 3D printing are also possible.

No new trees are felled for Neolign®. The PEFC-certified chips are a by-product of the wood processing industry and are obtained from local forests. What would otherwise have no use becomes your new favorite piece thanks to Neolign®.

Neolign® is also recyclable. 100% recyclable materials ensure that old Neolign® can be processed into new Neolign® products at the end of its lifespan. In keeping with the Cradle to Cradle principle.

Impregnation with Neolign Care protects the surface from dirt and weathering. Keep in mind, however, that Neolign behaves like fresh wood, maturing under the influence of weather is normal.

Impregnation:

- test the absorbency of Neolign with a small dose of NeolignCare.

- Neolign Care must be massaged into the material so that NO white residue remains on the surface. (white residue hardens and can only be sanded off). This may take some time, use the necessary force.

- wait approx. 1-2 hours after the first impregnation and apply the next layer of Neolign Care. As the material is somewhat saturated after the first impregnation, you should invest the necessary time here so that no white streaks remain on the surface. (Tip: use less Neolign Care)

- For optimum results, repeat the process three times.

- Keep the surface clean and free of dirt during impregnation.

Neolign Care is a fully ecological protection and care product that is optimally matched to the properties of Neolign®. By saturating the material with Neolign Care, the material absorbs less liquid and dirt and thus significantly increases stain resistance. In addition, Neolign Care is designed in such a way that the color of the boards is retained during impregnation.

With care, you ensure that signs of wear on your furniture are minimized and that you can enjoy it for a long time. This supports our philosophy of sustainability through longevity.

The WYE kitchen board behaves like a conventional wooden board. We recommend the kitchen boards as trays, coasters for cups, table runners, for arranging bowls or as decorative objects in your home - but in the end, it's up to YOU to decide on the right use. Stains that occur during this application are easy to remove (see FAQ Cleaning)

You should bear in mind that Neolign basically behaves like untreated wood, so signs of use z.Bare to be expected. Cuts and changes under the influence of z.B. Moisture are to be expected.

Our kitchen boards are dishwasher-safe and easy to clean. Stains can therefore be removed either in the dishwasher or with washing-up liquid, hot water and a rough sponge.

When cleaning stubborn stains in the dishwasher, we recommend using high-quality tabs (e.g. Frosch dishwasher tabs).

When cleaning stubborn stains in the sink, soak the kitchen board in warm water for at least 5 minutes and then clean with a sponge or brush.

If liquid has penetrated the material, the power of the sun is often enough to remove it again.

Stubborn stains can be easily removed with a rough sponge and clear, cold water. Moisten the entire surface to prevent drying marks. Dry cleaning with an abrasive fleece also works very well. We recommend our Neolign® care kit.

For very stubborn stains or scratches, you can sand down the entire surface. By coloring the Neoligns® through, a surface damaged by many years of use can be sanded down professionally.

Gaps between the Neolignboard and sheet metal or wobbly legs can be adjusted by loosening the wing screws. The wing screws are then tightened again piece by piece, crosswise.

We manufacture our Neolign® and associated raw materials such as color pigments and polymers in Germany, as well as packaging, fabrics, upholstery material and additional products. Our sheet metal comes from a traditional sheet metal processing company within the EU.
We have the plastic for our floor gliders manufactured in Switzerland.

Neolign® feels like hardwood and smells of spruce.

The color pigments of our Hero series in Kalypso-Rot consist of a composition of particularly high-quality color pastes that penetrate into the capillaries of the wood chips. Color pigments consist of either organic or inorganic raw materials, such as z.BMetals or minerals. Each raw material commands a specific price on the market. This results in price differences.

When you return your product to us or one of our retailers, you will receive a 40% credit towards a new product in the range. We are currently working on expanding the Circular Community so that you will soon be able to redeem your credit at a selection of sustainable brands.

How much are the shipping costs?

Delivery usually takes between 3-10 working days, depending on the product.
On each product page there is an availability traffic lightthat shows how long shipping is expected to take. If there are any delays, we will inform you as soon as possible. Please always check your spam folder and make sure you have sufficient storage space in your mailbox.

As soon as you have completed your order, you will receive an order confirmation from us by email. We will then send you a second email with a tracking linkas soon as your parcel has left our warehouse.

RETOURS & REFUNDS

Returns to the address in the legal notice will not be accepted.

You are responsible for the costs of your return. Please note: Fewer returns protect the environment!

In the case of voluntary returns, the return shipment is subject to a charge. If the product is damaged, we will cover the return costs.

Do you not like the goods?

In the event of a return, please note the following points:

2. The return shipment should correspond to the original condition if possible. We reserve the right to withhold compensation for material damage to the product when refunding.

3. Furniture that has already been assembled must be thoroughly disassembled.

4. If it is no longer possible to return the product in its original packaging, please ensure that it is sufficiently transportable. Make sure that the packaging is good and secure, as there is often a lack of care during shipping and we will have to hold you liable for any transport damage.

6. If you have already paid for the product, you will of course be refunded your money.

As soon as we have received your return, we will initiate the refund. You will receive an email as soon as the refund has been made.

If a product arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us (hello@wye-design.com). This way we can guarantee a quick processing and - if necessary - a reliable replacement.

It is possible to send back two returns in one package. Please make sure that our products are carefully packaged so that we receive them undamaged and can include them in our warehouse again in the interests of sustainability.
